Introduction and Acceptance
Welcome to Ren ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, paying for a subscription, or uploading content to our Service, you ("the User") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

The Service
Ren provides a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that allows Users to upload event photography and utilizes facial recognition technology to allow event attendees ("Attendees") to retrieve photos of themselves.

User Responsibilities and Warranties
You acknowledge that regarding the photos you upload, you are the Data Controller and Ren is the Data Processor.
3.1 Requirement to Notify and Obtain Consent
You represent and warrant that you have full legal authority to upload the content to our Service. You bear the sole responsibility for notifying all individuals depicted in your photos ("Attendees") that:
- Their photograph is being taken.
- The photograph will be uploaded to a third-party cloud platform.
- Biometric technology (facial recognition) will be used to analyze their facial features for the purpose of photo retrieval.
Where required by privacy laws applicable in the jurisdiction where the Event takes place (or the jurisdiction of the Attendees' residence), you warrant that you have obtained explicit consent from the Attendees (or their legal guardians) to process their biometric data.
3.2 Compliance Verification and Audit
You acknowledge that Ren logs IP addresses and access timestamps of the User for the purpose of verifying compliance with these Terms, preventing abuse, and auditing the geographic origin of uploads to ensure jurisdictional compliance.
3.3 Indemnification regarding Consent
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Ren, its officers, directors, and employees from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your failure to provide adequate notice or obtain necessary consents from the Attendees in your photos.

IntelProperty
Your Content: You retain full ownership of the photos you upload. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, display, and process these photos solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you and your Attendees.
Our Technology: We retain all rights, title, and interest in the Ren platform, including our facial recognition algorithms, code, and interface.

Prohibited Use
You may not use the Service to:
- Identify individuals for the purpose of surveillance, stalking, harassment, or investigation.
- Process photos of minors without the explicit written consent of their parents or guardians.
- Upload content that is illegal, pornographic, or violates the rights of any third party.

Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ren shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid to us for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Thailand. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Bangkok, Thailand.

Introduction
Ren respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal data for two distinct groups: Users (Account holders/Photographers who pay for our service) and Attendees (Individuals searching for photos).

Data We Collect
A. From Users (Account Holders)
- Account Data: Name, email address, business name.
- LINE Login Data: When you sign in with LINE, we collect the email address associated with your LINE account (with your consent) and your LINE user ID to create and manage your account.
- Billing Data: Payment information (processed by our payment provider; we do not store full credit card numbers).
- Uploaded Content: Event photographs uploaded to our system.
- Technical Data: We collect your IP address and device information when you log in or upload files.
B. From Attendees (End Users)
- Reference Selfie: To find their photos, Attendees may be asked to upload a selfie.
- Biometric Data (Face Embeddings): We analyze the Reference Selfie and the Event Photos to create a numerical representation of facial features ("Face Embedding").
- Technical Data: We collect the IP address and timestamp of the Attendee when they perform a search or access a gallery.
- LINE User ID: When Attendees subscribe to album notifications via LINE, we store their LINE user ID (in encrypted form) to deliver notifications and manage subscriptions.

How We Use Your Data
We process data for the following purposes:
- Service Delivery: To match Reference Selfies with Event Photos.
- Compliance Verification: We use IP addresses to verify the geographic location of Users and Attendees to ensure compliance with local jurisdictional laws and to maintain an audit trail of consent and access.
- Security: To detect and prevent fraudulent activity, unauthorized access, or abuse of our platform (e.g., rate-limiting searches).

Retention of Data
- Reference Selfie: Deleted immediately after the search is performed.
- Event Photos: Maybe stored up to thirty (30) days after the event gallery's active period (as determined by the User) or after the gallery is deleted, whichever comes first.
- Face Embeddings: Maybe stored up to thirty (30) days after the event gallery's active period (as determined by the User) or after the gallery is deleted, whichever comes first.
- IP Logs: Retained for thirty (30) days for security auditing purposes, after which they are deleted or anonymized.
- Notification subscriber data (email address, LINE user ID, WhatsApp number): Sign-up data used to notify attendees when an album is ready is deleted 5 days after the album has been notified.
- Event and album data: Event and associated data (albums, photos, logos, watermarks) are deleted 5 days after the event has expired (i.e. 5 days after the event's access period ends).

Role of the User (Data Controller)
Please be aware that the User (the photographer or event organizer) acting as the Data Controller is responsible for the collection of photos at the event.
If you (an Attendee) believe your photo was taken or uploaded without your permission, please contact the User (Event Organizer) directly.
Ren processes these photos solely on the instructions of the User.

Data Storage and Sub-Processors
We use trusted third-party providers to store and process data. By using our service, you acknowledge your data may be processed on infrastructure including:
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Supabase
- Cloudflare

International Data Transfers
Our servers are located in South East Asia. If you are accessing the service from outside this region, please note that your data will be transferred to and processed in a jurisdiction that may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.

Your Rights
Depending on the privacy laws applicable in your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request deletion of your data ("Right to be Forgotten").
- Withdraw consent for biometric processing.

REFUND POLICY
We do not offer refunds for any purchases or subscriptions.
