Events

Learn how to create, manage, and organize your photography events effectively.

What are Events?

Events are the top-level container for your photography projects. Each event can contain multiple albums and serve as a central hub for all photos related to a specific guests or occasion. You can set a name and event date for each event.

Key Features

  • Artist Collaboration: Invite artists to upload photos to your event.
  • Expiration Date: An event will be automatically archived after the expiration date determined by your subscription plan. Count down starts from when an image is uploaded to the event. After the event is archived, all photos will be deleted.
  • Image Limit: There is a limited number of images that can be uploaded to an event. The limit is determined by your subscription plan.

Creating an Event

When you first sign up, an event will be created automatically. Users can create an event from the events page or from the profile page. Users can select to use existing credits or purchase a new event. More information about credits can be found in the subscription page.

Share link for multiple albums

Share links let guests view albums without logging in. From an event page you can create one link that includes multiple albums as tabs in a single gallery. For a single-album link, see the Albums documentation.

Prerequisites

To be able to execute the action, you must be:

  • Logged In
  • Event Owner
1

Go to the Events page, open an event, and click "Share link".

2

Select two or more albums to include in the link. Selected albums appear as tabs in the shared gallery in this order—use the up and down arrow buttons to reorder them before you create the link.

3

Select the validity of the link. Optionally set a passcode. You can enable guest uploads and set a maximum number of guest photos (a passcode is required when guest uploads are enabled).

4

Click the "Create" button to generate the share link. The link will be displayed in the modal.

To change album tab order on an existing multi-album link, go to the Share Links page, find the link, and click "Reorder albums". Adjust the order and save.

Event settings (contributor list, guest hiding, auto retouch)

Show contributor list, allow guests to hide images, and auto retouch mode are stored on the event and shared by every album in that event.

  • For events with one album, open the album and use the Settings button to edit these options along with share passcode and guest uploads.
  • For events with multiple albums, use the Event Settings button on the event page. Passcodes and guest uploads are managed per share link from the share link UI.

Event branding (logo, banner, watermark)

Logo, banner, and watermark are configured once per event and shared by every album in that event. Guests see the same branding on all share links for albums in the event.

  • For events with one album, open the album to edit logo, banner, and watermark from the album header.
  • For events with multiple albums, use the event page branding section to upload and customize logo, banner, and watermark.
  • Watermark is applied when photos are processed. Your profile default watermark is used when event watermark is enabled but no event-specific image is uploaded.
